I recall myself doing collages and making images of my own when I was 11 years old. I taught myself how to use Microsoft Word to create these images. Microsoft Word has some tools that allow you to create images of your own and then export them as a .jpeg or as a .png. I took some courses at UAM that helped me to have a better view about how the world of graphic design works.
Nonetheless, I had to transfer to another university that provided better classes for graphic designers. One of the main options was SCAD and I was accepted with a scholarship of $9,000. In spite of that, I never attended SCAD since back in those times the economy was in a bad place in my country. So, I kept on looking for more options and now, I am grateful that I graduated from Liberty University with a degree in graphic design.
